One of Indy’s favourite gifts was crayons.
She has been playing with them pretty much non stop since she took them out of her stocking.
A budding artist.

One of Indy’s gifts was a cute Bunny blanket. She has been carrying/wearing it around for the last few days. How funny is it?!
A couple weekends ago Daddy and Aunt D decided to do the Santa Shuffle. Mommy and I went to watch.
We registered and then took a tour around the park to check out all the great Christmas decorations.
Then, Mommy and I went to Williams to cheer them on from inside. It was COLD!
We cheered them on to the finish and then went to the wrap up party.
Congratulations Daddy and Aunt D!
Sorry we have been slacking on the blog....as most of you know life has been a little upside down around this place :) But, I am going to get back on track, so stayed tuned over the next couple weeks for all Indy's updates.
This is technically Indy’s 2nd Hallowe’en, but it’s the first she got to do some trick or treating. This is her fancy witch costume.
Daddy took her on a tour to some of our neighbours and to Gramma and Grampa H’s. She loved it :)
Here she is showing off her loot when she got home…she got to keep some goldfish, some socks and a juice box…other than that Daddy and Mommy enjoyed the fruits of her labour.
Indy’s daycare made this super cute craft last week. They had to pick out all the pieces and bring them to Mrs. B to glue on. So Indy now knows eyes, mouth and ears. Too cute and she is SO proud.
Indy donned her party outfit (yes, Mommy did purchase her a tutu and scarf). Here she is having a little preparty snack…a full tomato.
Drum set courtesy of Uncle S and Aunt D….thanks…maybe :) But Indy sure does love them. Cool camo hat courtesy of Munch.
Take a close look at Indy’s eyes as we open a gift from Aunt D…its a magnetic farm for the fridge….maybe its the wrapping paper that is scary???
Thanks Gramma’s and Grampa’s for all the new clothes and diapers. Love it all.
Then the part Indy has unknowingly been waiting for all year.
Mmmmm……CAKE & ICE CREAM!!! I will never eat veggies again!
We ended up at a great family restaurant on the last night in Copenhagen. They had a kids menu that had some great foods for Indy to eat. But as with all restaurants you do have to wait to get your food. Patience with respect to food is not a life skill Indy has acquired yet. So these are the aforementioned “Oat-y O’s”…however they were a little stale by the end of the trip and required some soaking before they were possible for Indy to chew (she only has 4 teeth).
She got salmon with roasted potatoes and 2 dishes of guacamole. YUM!!!
“Really? A whole plate just for me? I don’t have to share?'”
“Will you hold these for me Daddy?…I’m starting to get full”
Destroyed it! YUM!!!
One of the toughest parts of our vacation was getting enough food into Indy. She is a big eater (aka more than her mom and gives daddy a run for his money!) So we purchased a box of cereal…here she is enjoying some “Oat-y O’s” in one of our many hotel rooms.
We also stopped at multiple fruit and vegetable stands. Here she is eating an apple right down to the seeds…
Enjoying a cheese, salami and snow pea picnic in the Kings Garden in Copenhagen…
The worlds largest apples. We got a bag of them in Goteburg Sweeden and she loved them and does not want to eat Canadian apples now….
First shot using chopsticks at Goteburg’s Way Out West Festival…
Eating some authentic Danish food while we set up for L & U’s wedding…
Sometimes she just couldn’t control herself and stole the food right off our plates! And that was AFTER she had her own dinner.
What is going to happen when she is a teenager?!
