The Baltic Sea

DSC01076If there was ever any doubt about how lucky Indy is…here is her 1st swim in the Baltic Sea.  We were fortunate enough to be staying in a cottage where we could see the sea from our deck!DSC01079 DSC01077Indy Daddy and L had a great swim while Mommy documented the event. DSC01078

A big moment for Indy

DSC01213We ended up at a great family restaurant on the last night in Copenhagen.  They had a kids menu that had some great foods for Indy to eat.  But as with all restaurants you do have to wait to get your food.  Patience with respect to food is not a life skill Indy has acquired yet.  So these are the aforementioned “Oat-y O’s”…however they were a little stale by the end of the trip and required some soaking before they were possible for Indy to chew (she only has 4 teeth).

DSC01215She got salmon with roasted potatoes and 2 dishes of guacamole.  YUM!!!

“Really?  A whole plate just for me?  I don’t have to share?'”

“Will you hold these for me Daddy?…I’m starting to get full”

Destroyed it!  YUM!!!

Indy’s favourite hobby

DSC01021   One of the toughest parts of our vacation was getting enough food into Indy.  She is a big eater (aka more than her mom and gives daddy a run for his money!)  So we purchased a box of cereal…here she is enjoying some “Oat-y O’s” in one of our many hotel rooms.

DSC01012We also stopped at multiple fruit and vegetable stands.  Here she is eating an apple right down to the seeds…DSC01042

Enjoying a cheese, salami and snow pea picnic in the Kings Garden in Copenhagen…

DSC01210 The worlds largest apples.  We got a bag of them in Goteburg Sweeden and she loved them and does not want to eat Canadian apples now….

Eating some authentic Danish food while we set up for L & U’s wedding…

Sometimes she just couldn’t control herself and stole the food right off our plates!  And that was AFTER she had her own dinner.

What is going to happen when she is a teenager?!

Practice, practice, practice

DSC01001  Indy has decided that she NEEDS to walk.  She was committed to walking as much as possible during the trip.  So here she is walking while we waited for our dinner one night.DSC01053 While we helped set up for the wedding.

She isn’t really holding our hands at all….but she hasn’t figured that out yet.  It’s only a matter of time.

DSC00993   We spent the last 2 weeks travelling through Denmark and Sweeden.  It was going to be a LONG flight so we decided to take advantage of all the travelling Daddy does and take Indy to the lounge to blow off some steam.

She thought that looking out the huge windows was great.

She also loved having her own seat and chowing down on some free food.

Stay tuned for the rest of our adventures.
